Requirements:

• Good and personal relationship with top/middle tier management of all major shipping lines.
• Able to tackle/sort out all issues relating to shipping lines.
• Deep experience within the Shipping and Logistics industry.
• Must be currently working on freight pricing related matters in the domain of EXPORT.
• Strong knowledge of Container/Shipping Line (products and services).
• Strong knowledge about the local market, competitor and industry trends.
• Purchasing & arranging slot from vessel operators and slot operators.
• Handling cross stuffing from SOC to COC
• Demonstrated results – performance, leadership and organizational wise.
• Strong command on slot procurement & well aware of main shipping line services.

Manage the selling process to external customers, including pricing, container availability, space and rates.

• Maintain relationships with top accounts and participate in sales calls.
• Identify account needs, opportunities and key buying factors for existing customers, and formalize those into account plans and strategies.
• Pro-actively search, qualify, develop and engage into new customer relationships.
• Manage and coach a team of individuals to optimal performance including setting account strategies, creating account plans, proposal development, negotiation and service delivery.
